Astrid Krogh

Born in Denmark in 1968, and graduating from the textile faculty at The Danish Design School in 1997. Krogh uses optical fibres to create woven textiles that have spectacular effects. As colour and light are transmitted through the fibres, the textiles change appearance and transform the spaces around them. Few artists speak this refined language as fluently as Astrid Krogh, who uses light to describe aspects of nature that words simply cannot.
