COLLABORATION ON VACATION

COLLABORATIONS on vacation is a Summer art program to take place at CCA in Andratx, Mallorca.

We are an art consultancy with a contemporary art space in Copenhagen with a strong passion to share our love for art and wish to communicate art in a broader sense – we love to collaborate with galleries from all over the world, with established as well as young artist to discover. This Summer we’re sharing our passion at Mallorca through collaborations and curatorial work at CCA – a 5000 m2 gallery space established in 2001 by Patricia and Jacob Asbæk with four artist in residency studios, a restaurant and space to unfold our three art events in picturesque surroundings in Andratx at Mallorca.

On July 8 the three art events will open and run until August 13 : a curated solo exhibition by the contemporary Danish artist Cathrine Raben Davidsen (b.1972) with large scale paintings and charcoal drawings. Simultaneously the international Austrian artist Xenia Hausner (b.1951) represented by König Galerie, will present large enigmatic portraits of women through her expressionistic vibrant use of color. Finally it’s time to put focus on some new young discoveries in collaboration with MISA.art that will run in a short period from July 8 – 24. During this period the entrance will be free, the restaurant will serve lunch to bring to the atrium, mountains or pool side and the stories behind the art will be told every day for those who wish to learn, listen and let the art world in.
