Women, Wildflowers, Goats and the Sea
15. August - 28. September 2024
Blair Saxon-Hill (b. 1979, Oregon) works straightforwardly and with effortless ease when she paints her still lifes of wilting flowers, people in their environment, or the surrounding nature. This summer, she visited CCA Andratx in Mallorca, and all the island’s impressions (the colors, the goats, the walls, the sea, the food, and the people – you name it) were filtered through Blair’s curious and engaged being and subsequently formulated in a visual language that playfully blends drawing with painting. In fact, we believe that Blair creates ambiance and spreads joy in such an immediate way that you can’t help but think that here is an artist for whom the natural is her natural talent.
