Lee Bae

Lee Bae (b. 1956) is a South Korean contemporary artist known for his minimalist abstract paintings. He is particularly recognized for his use of black paint, which he layers and textures to create subtle variations in shade and tone. Bae’s work has been exhibited internationally, including in solo shows at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Korea and the Musée d’Art Contemporain de Lyon in France.
